I’m a newb. Can I play?
Yes! The Write A Novel Festival is suitable for all levels. There’s no sharing work (unless you want to) and all excercises can be adjusted to where you are.
What if I can’t make all the events
All the workshops are recorded and replays will be on the website within 24 hours, and you’ll be able to watch the replays.
Write Alongs are not recorded.
Can you really learn creative writing?
Yes, much like you can learn to paint or play music or learn any other art or craft and it’s only unimaginative bores who insist you must have instant talent or be relegated to a creative-free life.
Flash Face Off is about practice, feedback, analysis, refinement, and FUN.
Will I get a publishing deal?
Not as part of the Write A Novel Festival, and not through Writers’ HQ.
Be very wary of anyone who promises you publishing riches beyond your wildest dreams.
