Everything you need to know about Writers' HQ writing retreats is HERE.
At the aaaammaaazing Freedom Works on Chatsworth Road, bang in the middle of town above the Raleigh shop and snuggled in between Fernandoz Grill and Molotov.
There’s plenty of parking around. Right next door is the Montague Centre and the long stay which are both about a tenner for the day. Then there’s the NCP on Union Place, which is a 5 minute walk and about £6 for the day if you book ahead. There is some on-street parking but it’s a controlled zone and costs £1.20 an hour.
It’s about a 15 minute walk from the train station – clicky here for directions.
Worthing Writers' Retreat is headed up by WHQ co-founder Sarah, who writes endlessly and is never satisfied. She graduated in the top 20% of her MA creative writing class at UEA, won the David Higham Award, won an Arts Council grant to complete her first novel under the mentorship of critically acclaimed author Peter Hobbs, was one of the NWS10 talented early career writers, and gained a rarely given special mention in the BBC Short Story Award. She is on the millionth iteration of her first novel because her mean agent keeps sending it back for the never ending tinkering of doom and also she's permanently sidetracked by Writers' HQ. Sarah is the queen of spreadsheets, novel plotting, and whip-cracking extraordinaire.
Super simple! Just pick your date from the list on the right, click BOOK NOW and book your place. We'll email you about everything you need to know and then just turn up on the day, laptop in hand, and get writing.
