Does flash always need to be angsty?
Kathy runs a whole bunch of Writers' HQ events, most famously Flash Face Off. She holds a BA (hons) and an MA in Creative Writing, is studying for her PhD, and has a passion for flash fiction, short stories and jammy dodgers all of which fuel her soul equally. Kathy's work has been nominated for Best Small Fictions, best Micro Fictions and The Pushcart Prize. Her work has appeared in a variety of anthologies and literary magazines including Spelk, The Forge, Lunate and Ellipsiszine ands has won and been shortlisted in many competitions including The Bath Flash Fiction Award, The Edinburgh Award for Flash Fiction ,The Exeter Short Story Prize and the Fish Memoir Prize.
