Day 25: Be PROUD!
Day 25: Be PROUD!
DAY 25, WE SURVIVED A WHOLE TWENTY-FIVE DAYS OF ADVENT WRITING AND YOU ARE BLOODY FANTASTIC!
We are so incredibly proud of all the amazing work you guys have been creating and posting in the forum — seriously — the quality and variety and humour and humanity of the stories has completely blown us away and we hope you have ended up with at least one (if not MANY) that you want to explore, develop, edit, or even submit.
Which brings us to today’s ‘exercise’ because we know you’re probably sitting around in your pyjamas eating chocolate and cheese (maybe even at the same time) and while we admire your diligence for checking in, we don’t really expect you to do any writing today!
Instead, we’d love you to show your pride, toot your horn, and share the piece of writing you’re most proud of in the forum for gold stars, adoration and general applause.
It could just be a line or a paragraph. It could be a whole draft or a complete story. It doesn’t even have to be from the Writing Advent exercises.
We just want you to take a minute to admire your own dang work and put it out there for all to see, so we can admire it too!
And then we’d like you to get back to your cheese and chocolate (and ideally a brand new book), and enjoy the rest of your festivities.
Have a happy one, and may all your words be merry and bright.
Huge, HUGE love from the WHQ team.
We’ll see you in the new year.
