It's a bold statement but I'm pretty sure that without taking this course I would never have got past four chapters of my novel. The tools which I gained allowed me to not only structure my novel in a way that makes sense but to give myself the boundaries within which to really move forward with the book. I've written more in the last four months than I've written in two years and I'm coming to the end of my first draft now which is something I never thought I'd actually say. I've been able to set realistic goals, be disciplined and really see my novel take shape. I would recommend this course to everyone and I couldn't be more grateful for it!

I have always written without a plan but Plotstormers helped me realise I could save myself a lot of work and rewriting if I structure an outline and work from there. The course was fun, easy to follow and made the process very clear and straightforward.

This was the best plotting course around. Thought I was a plotter before I did this but now I know differently. I'm exhausted - but I have a very good plan for my novel!

Thank you so much! Your sweary motivation helped me get through plotting - something which I've tried but never finished. There were points I thought that there was no way to make my outline seem interesting, but with the encouragement to keep tweaking, I've ended up with something I'm excited to write. :)

This is an amazing course that I have revisited over and over again with the aim of transforming a hitherto unused portion of my brain into a dedicated 'plotstormarius' - making WHQ's take on story structure an integral part of me. Alternatively, I can just come back here and do it again. To anyone pantsing themselves into a panic, this is your 'panswer' (see what I did there?). Highly recommended.

I had an idea. I wrote it out for 60k words. Someone said it was more like a short story. I was stuck. Then I discovered Writers' HQ... I've found my people. This course has literally transformed my work. I now have something that actually reads like the outline for a novel. The teaching methods, materials and support (both from Sarah and Jo, and my fellow plot-a-trons) has been superb. Sensible, practical, intense, with a good splosh of anarchy. I now feel more confident about the actual writing and am also happy that the original idea holds up. Thank you so much and I'm looking forward to the next course (9 month...). It'll be AWESOME!
