Sarah Masters has a story called A Little Less Conversation, A Little More Action on Funny Pearls and is going to be in Serious Fiction’s 10 year anthology. A previous FFO has also been longlisted for Northern Gravy.
Mathew Gostelow will have a story featured on an episode of the Lunatics Radio Hour podcast, a flash was accepted by The Winged Moon, and there’s a piece in the Alien Buddha House of Horrors Anthology.
Lucy Brighton received an acceptance from Roi Fainéant.
Heather Haig received an acceptance for an FFO flash from Raw Lit and a yes from Hooghly Review for a poem and another from Pure Slush for the death anthology.
Jane Mooney has finished their Middle Grade novel and has started querying agents and has also been longlisted by Northern Gravy.
Anika Carpenter has a story in Issue 13 of Gooseberry Pie and is on the Bath longlist
Sarah McPherson has The Gothic Heroine Takes Matters Into Her Own Hands on FlashFlood and got to pick stories for Matt Kendrick’s Mondettes newsletter this month. They also have a story on the Wigleaf Top 50 longlist.
Tabbie Hunt has a story called For the Writers up on Witcraft
Jane Jackson has seven pieces up at the National Flash Fiction Day Write-In: The Further Adventures of the Three Little Pigs, Flights of Fancy, Refreshment, Alarming Elements, Ingredients for breakfast on a campsite in the South of France, The girl who always ‘Why?’, the apple tart and the wasp, and The Feeling You Get When The Person In Front Beats You To It.
Sarah Oakes has two pieces in the NFFD Write-In called Celestial Celebrations and My Elemental Odyssey and received an acceptance from Urban Pigs Press for a poem. There is also a small piece published in voidspace zines new collection.
Alison Wassell has a story in The Mersey Review and has won the Books Ireland Flash Fiction Competition.
Dimitra Fimi has a flash piece in the NFFD Write-In called Springing.
Joyce Bingham has a story in The Mersey Review.
Karen Arnold has a story on the Bath longlist and received an acceptance from The Banshee.
Naomi Brotherton has a CNF piece published in Entrails and on Suddenly, and without warning called No Woman is an Island.
Sophie Thompson received acceptances from Suburban Witchcraft and Neither Fish Nor Foul.
Kendra Jackson has a story in The Ghost in the Academy Sci Fi anthology.
Marie-Louise McGuinness received an acceptance from The Banshee.
Malina Douglas had a short story nominated by the British Fantasy Awards.
