Write a Synopsis

Learn how to craft a small but perfectly formed synopsis and impress prospective agents

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (see reviews)

I really enjoyed this course. It got to the nub of what's required and enabled me to keep focussed on what's important. I thought the section which discusses the different approaches to writing a synopsis were super helpful. I'd highly recommend it.

I just wanted to say how much I love Writers’ HQ
A story I wrote for Flash Face Off has been accepted for publication (on a website I found in the WHQ competition listings). Thank you so much for giving me the confidence to send my work out ‘there’ and to all those wonderful people on the forums who give such amazing constructive criticism!

Flash Face Off

Never done anything like this before and found the online format worked so well. Felt relaxed, and that contributed to creativity. Many thanks – will sign up for the next one next week!

Completed a first draft in 25 days! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For anyone still unsure as to whether the online writing retreats are worth your time, I say this: I hadn’t written anything significant in months and signed up for one retreat. In those six hours I planned and entire children’s fiction trilogy I’d been mulling over. Then the lockdown happened so I signed up for all the weekend retreats and I completed the first draft of the first book in 25 days! The motivation these retreats provide is an undeniable gift. Thank you Sarah and Jo and all the other retreat hosts, I am eternally grateful. ❤️💛💚💙💜

These online writers’ retreats are invaluable!
I don’t think I could be motivated to write without them. Most productive Sunday in a long time. I wrote 1300 words! Thanks Writers’ HQ.
