Here’s how it works:

1. You make a post about your experience at a Writers’ HQ real life writing retreat. It can be excitement about attending or your experience post-retreat or a before-and-after or anything you like. It can be an image or carousel or a video. All is good.
2. Make sure to tag us when you post it.
3. At the end of the month we’ll pick our fave and the one we pick wins three free retreats and three months of membership.

That’s it!

Here’s some things you want to know:

• We are active on Instagram, Threads, Bluesky and Facebook. You can post on any or all of these channels and tag us. If you post on TikTok or another channel, please email us to let us know because we are not there.
• On Instagram, please don’t request we collaborate on your post, just tag us @writershq.

Here are the T&Cs

• This promotion runs until the end of August 2026.
• You need to create your own unique post. You can’t just repost one of ours and tag us in it.
• We will choose three winners, one each on the final working day of June, July and August 2026.
• The creator of the winning posts will win three Writers’ HQ writing retreats which will be redeemable via a coupon code, and three months of Glorious Writing Beast membership, which will also be redeemable via a coupon code.
• The retreat coupon will be valid for 12 months of the issue date and for any WHQ retreats in any of our locations.
• The membership code will be redeemable within 12 months of the issue date.
• Once booked, the retreats are subject to the same cancellation and transfer rules as usual, including late transfer fees.
• We can’t refund any membership or events already booked. You can append your three months of membership on the end of your existing membership.
• There is no cash alternative.
• If you use generative AI to create your post, it won’t be eligible, and we’ll roll our eyes at you.
• If you post on X, it won’t be eligible, and we’ll roll our eyes at you.
• Once you tag us in a post, we’ll most likely repost it in the normal way of social media reposting, with all appropriate accreditation.
• You own all the rights to everything you create OBVIOUSLY, and if we want to share your content more widely than a standard repost then we’ll have a further conversation.
