The Writer’s Games

Opens: 1st April 2020
Requirements: For six consecutive weeks, registered participants create short stories that meet the challenges (Events) announced for the week. Each Event lasts 72 hours and no one knows what that week’s challenge might be until the clock starts.

The Red Planet Prize

Prize: Up to 10 shortlisted writers will be invited to a one day pitching master-class and will then have 3 weeks to write up their pitch and series outline. 4 writers will be invited to final interview to discuss their idea. The winner of the competition will get a script commission for their submitted pitch as well as development opportunities. The runners up will also be provided with development opportunities.
