Writing Competitions & Opportunities – November 2018

November creeps in, slipping its cold hand into yours, whispering of the darkness to come… In the brief liminal space between Halloween and Christmas it’s time to wrap up warm, light a candle or two, and write your woolly socks off.

As per usual we’ve put together a bumper list of calls for submissions to get you through the month, including writing competitions and opportunities for writers of all shapes and sizes. Poets? We’ve got you covered. Scriptwriters? We loves ya, baby. Novelists? Sharpen thy quills. Short story-ers and flashers? Get to work. Non-fictioners? There’s something for you too, kiddos.

So pick a listing, write something excellent, and get subbing. Remember to ALWAYS CHECK THE GUIDELINES and join us in our quest to send out 100 Submissions in 2018!
