Chris Fulwell received an Honourable Mention in the inaugural Twist in the Tale contest and The Ferryman’s Lament was long listed in the AWC’s Furious Fiction April Showcase.

Kendra Jackson received an acceptance from Sparks Literary Journal for their first issue.

Lauren Phillips-Freeman braved sending an erotica to two friends and was met with very positive feedback and also attributes some super positive feedback to the Writing Without Fear course.

Joanne Park is launching a lit mag with a focus on flash fiction and short stories.

Tabbie Hunt received an acceptance from Witcraft.

Sarah Oakes submitted to an RNIB writing competition, which wants to publish the flash as part of their special mentions.

David Higham had the travel piece The Man in the Piazza at Santa Margherita Ligure broadcast by the BBC.

Naomi Brotherton had Loves True Aim published on R U Joking and received an acceptance from Mr Bull.

Karen Arnold completed and submitted their first ever DYCP application, received an acceptance from Bright Flash, and a yes from FlashFlood editors for First Class Ticket, Nine Hour Flight. There are also two stories long listed in the Flash 500 competition.

Susy Churchill has Silent Disapproval on ParagraphPlanet.

Sophie Thompson had The Rowan featured as one of the winners on The Three Ravens Podcast for their flash fiction competition.

Lizzie Eldridge had a piece published by Bristol Noir.

Marie-Louise McGuinness had Spaceship Karaoke published by Witcraft and received a yes from FlashFlood for My Father’s New Dad-Suit Loves Ice Cream.

Heather Haig had two entries make the New Writers Spring Drabble shortlist and has a poem on Dark Winter Lit, called Fae Magic is Fierce.

Sarah Masters has a tiny story in paragraphplanet.

Alison Wassell has a tiny micro (which began in FFO) in Gooseberry Pie Clam, received a yes from FlashFlood for The Law Of The Playground, and is on the Flash 500 long list.

Rachel Speed had an acceptance from a local anthology and will also be published in a local magazine to help promote the book.

Angela Fitzpatrick also received a yes from FlashFlood for When the Family Came to Dine.
